Sending love and light to my new found friends and family.

“Coronaviruses are a large family of respiratory viruses with some causing less-severe disease, such as the common cold, and others more severe disease such as Middle-East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). Some transmit easily from person to person, while others do not.” http://WWW.UN.ORG

As some of y’all have noticed that I have not been able to post anything since my launch blog post. This has been largely due to the fact I was still finalizing my blog content calendar. This is a very essential step in the functioning and executing the objectives of this blog. This is to make sure that my followers and future followers get the best out of my website and I produce life changing and effective content. This applies to all the aspects of this site, such as fashion, beauty and also lifestyle.

Most of our lifestyles have been largely affected by the recent epidemic which took the entire globe by storm. This is the Coronavirus which emerged very late last year in the city of Wuhan, China in December 2019. A lot of measures and strict regulations had to be established and adhered to, as a way to prevent and contain the spread of the COVID-19. As mentioned on my bio, I am currently a Marketing student at CPUT (publishing of this post) and I was largely affected like any other student or employee, throughout the world.

In following some of the regulations set by both international and national institutions; such as practicing social distancing and self-isolation (to name a few) which even prevented me from celebrating my birthday which was earlier on in March (stay tuned), I had to work from home like most considerate individuals. This has had a huge effect and caused a bit of delay in executing our goals and reaching our targets, same as and achieving the vision we had envisioned for this blog.

This does not mean the blog or the site will no longer be operational as I have the advantage of still working from home, so I can make sure I still cater for my people through such trying times brought by the sinister COVID-19 epidemic. However, all the blog posts that are yet to be published will be centered around the spread of awareness and current COVID-19 updates set by credible institutions in carrying out the task of prevention and the containment of the virus. ST. RAPHAEL THREADS strongly feels that it is better to focus on urgent matters of the current state and leave the not so urgent matters for later . Please see the link below on the updates and re information of the COVID-19.

Please let us all be safe and practice social distancing, so we can all be here for post-quarantine looks and beauty tips.

Kind regards,

Raphael Threads,

Raphael who?

Hi everyone, thanks for taking your time to read my post. I promise you will not regret it, or maybe if you do then read it again 🤗

I am new in this blogging thing and have always kept it at the back of my head as an idea that I would publish a blog one day. This was me back in high school a couple of years ago. It was the dawn of social media fanatics and me being an introvert I was always online. However, later on in life I had discovered that I suffer from depression and anxiety. “IT CAN BE SUPPRESSED!” A friend of mine told me one day during one of my frequent breakdowns, “all you have to do is breathe my friend, you not dying trust me.” She did Psychology I guess that’s why she was always able to calm me down.

Anyway fast forward to now, after so many setbacks and regrets I decided to take back ownership of my life, and this blog with many other exciting projects coming up (will be announced on this blog) is the living proof of that! “Just breath you not dying!”

Raphael was always my alter ego name, a name I got from my cousin meaning God has healed (Google). The name really resonates very well with what I’ve went through in life and also it’s a manifestation of what I have and yet to archive through God; however my real name is Sello meaning “Cry”! This is why I decided to incorporate it on my Fashion activities as it is always a constant reminder that God is alive and has healed my soul, therefore what more do I SEEK if I have him beside me, through my name?

Let this be my harmony place where I will demonstrate how awesome it is to be part of the ADVOCATE personality type. (24 personality types.com) 🤗 and also touch or have a positive effect on someone’s life through reading this blog. Like I mentioned on bio that as much as I regard myself as being very introverted I enjoy socializing and taking advantage of new social trends, that maybe be possibly useful to my viewers (really felt good saying that😍 )

Stay tuned to experience how fashion and lifestyle healed me, especially during my college years at the University of Wits, and also moving back to Cape Town to study Marketing at CPUT. Expect anything related to fashion, beauty, food on a student budget and also tips on how to cope with school, depression&anxiety. 🎉

Kind Regards,

Sello Raphael Mtini aka RaphaelStyles
